Steve Mazan is dying to perform on David Letterman’s show. Literally. Steve is a stand-up comic who has recently been diagnosed with an incurable form of cancer. While he hopes a cure will soon be found, he also realizes that (unlike the Rolling Stones) time may not be on his side. Realizing his dreams are now more important than ever, Steve decided to turn up the heat and give himself a year to reach his ultimate dream: to perform on "The Late Show with David Letterman."
